    Diy Gpu Cooler

    This cooler was built out of scrap aluminum and a leftover heatpipe. Heatpipe was leftover from my current passive case project. I wanted to use a 6600GT card in my second computer which I assembled in HybRed´s box.
    The box is quit tight, and display adapter uses an agp riser, so the orginal cooler wouldn´t fit.

    I cut two pieces of 6mm aluminum plate, tightened them together in a vice, ad drilled a 6mm hole beetween them for the heatpipe.

    The cooling fins are 0,5mm aluminum plate, also leftovers from previous projects. They are bolted to a piece 3mm thick aluminum plate, the heatpipe cramped in beetween. (with lots of thermal paste)

    The fans blow directly to the CPU and GPU heatsinks, and the air comes out from the top. (in front here)

    The cooler works quite well, idle temperature is about 39 celsius, with the fan blowin 50% power
    Temperatures with 3dmark is about 48-50 with the same fan ratio. I havent had time to test it properly yet.
