5. Step - details

I happened to find some paints meant for scale models. One could also use a felt pens or markers to add highlights.

There are no limits for the color combinations that one can use. For example to alien/toxic eggs green and grey could work great or for firebird eggs the red and yellow might turn out nice...

A very easy method for pimping out the regular eggshells. Too bad that I didn't have any scale model dragon to pose with the eggs but I'm sure you'll come up with great ideas how to install these eggs. Happy Easter to you all and remember to post your dragon eggs to ATM! :)

21.03.2008 18:14 LcdloI made some testing. ac-ryan uv-paint and casco quick epoxy can be mixed together. http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/6756/maaliyw7.jpg It separates a little, but not so much.
21.03.2008 17:36 willekclas ohlson has a nice set of colored hotglue sticks, all in one bag. red, blue black. etc.. the neon yellow/green is also uv-reactive ;)
21.03.2008 17:32 JapalaIt could also be interesting to test how would a smd led and the hot glue channels work together. Just leave the hot glue unpainted and make them glow...
21.03.2008 17:26 LcdloThanks for tip, i bet that my kids are going to like this idea. Coloured hot glue would be very usefull in this. Needs to try mixing some colour with quick epoxy, uv-paint might "shine" in sunlight too.
