Plastic was very soft and a sharp knife was enough to cut it. There were two holes for the screws that hold the container in place. I made the cut just behind the first hole.

Dolly is then attached with the original screw. Just don't tighten it up all the way and it works as a hinge.

Finished!

A very easy fix and now the toy is ten times more fun. ;)
