i had absolutely next to no use to this laptop (FujitsuSiemens amilo c series if i remember right, 450mhz celeron, 64mb ram, 6gb hdd) and i had a need for big and illuminated clock wich i can see in the night.
so heres the solution! i simply put it up there with a cord tied to the hinges. kinda looks like it just levitates up there...

11.05.2009 09:13 JiikaxVery, very good idea :D
10.05.2009 23:37 ColtThis is just brilliant!
10.05.2009 20:24 Jealousyvery nice! maybe hide the cord behind the curtains? still, very nice :)! 5
10.05.2009 19:48 BenaH:D Nice idea, but I wouldn't do that. If I could and was capable of make one, I would use blue leds illuminating plate made of plexiglass which has engraved numbers. The arms (hour, minute and second) from an ordinary clock or illuminated ones, if possible. :D (Ideas which were doomed to failior before I wrote them here) EDIT: Yes, I'm always writing comments over 2 rows when I get exited.
10.05.2009 16:52 DJanneOkay, I just need some 15.4" or smaller laptop for surffing :)
10.05.2009 12:12 kuppazkino i think im gonna leave it hanging there until i get my hands on a wlancard and sum more memory
10.05.2009 11:17 DJanneYou dont want to sell that laptop? :)
09.05.2009 22:31 kuppazkiyea i have read that. but i just like the idea of a laptop hanging down from the ceiling!
09.05.2009 22:21 Hene987But that keyboard thing is ugly. :/ http://allthemods.com/project.php?id=307 ..nice!
09.05.2009 22:00 kuppazkinah, i like it better this way. this is just more practical approach :) besides whats the difference if its smaller, not gonna use space in the ceiling to anything anyways
09.05.2009 21:17 YarikoYou should flip the screen somehow so you can shut the lid but you still can see the screen, so it's smaller and keyboard and stuff stays hidden and looks much better :) Good idea though.
