A plywood case made to house a standard (and ugly) metallic atx case.
Quite basic (but ugly) interior setup. PSU is located under that white plate that used to be part of the cover. That black box which also works as an extension cord for the PSU is "Current and Voltage sensor" that came with the Zalman fan controller so it can show  the system's current power consumption.

Also the fake leather was sold in 1,5m wide pieces which  wasn't enought to wrap the whole case around so the bottom part isn't completely covered. It's not like you can see it anyway. (And I didn't want to buy at least twice as much of the stuff than needed for this project)

The metallic frame can be removed from the "wooden shell" for hardware installation and isn't  fastened in any way as it sits very tightly there and optical drives keep it in place anyway.

My wooden "shell" case project finished. Made of 15mm thick birch plywood and wrapped in some nice fake leather.

I currently don't have all the required components to make a working computer for this case, but it has a standard mediums sized atx case inside that should be able to house any normal setup :)
