I'm in the process of making some replacement parts from aluminium.

The machine broke whille cutting this one, took me 3 hours to repair it and then I was able to finish the job.

Machining time: at least one and a half hours.

14.03.2011 09:35 metalfusionWhy not? It's a center cutting endmill. The machine is not rigid enough to do it efficiently though. I should have just made shallow marks wiith the machine and then drill the holes with a drill press.
13.03.2011 22:16 JaverhTwist drills are usually more efficient at simple drilling and definately cheaper.
