| 05.08.2008 21:43 | | | happy? : ) |
| 04.03.2008 21:20 | | | Maybe, got to rip it apart again :( |
| 04.03.2008 14:22 | | | bad contact definately.. |
| 04.03.2008 10:59 | | | Dunno, Maybe there is too thick layer of Arctic silver 5 :/ |
| 04.03.2008 00:54 | | | My load temp @ min rpm is under 60c even i have overclocked core 700 and shader 1750 with VF-900Cu. Somehow you failed the installion or the cooler isn't straight |
| 02.03.2008 14:55 | | | That's strange :O Could the 900 really be worse than the 700? |
| 02.03.2008 14:52 | | | Now i have changed that cooler to VF-900 and i get 72'c load temps with min rpm :/ |
| 17.02.2008 18:01 | | | i have GALAXY 8800GT 512 1.0ns Samsung rev.2 , i took away the dreadfull cooler and replaced with Arctic NV5 Silencer rev.3 , does 59C @ load 700/1600/2200 :] i'll post some pics ASAP |
| 13.02.2008 10:40 | | | Ah. good on ya Yoshi. No need to spend anymore than you need. I waited to get a second 7800gt cuz I never saw the need for it. Then one fell into my lap for about 50CAD. Didn't need it, but it was a good call at the time. but, it prompted me to upgrade to 4gb ram and an opty 170... being a hardware enthusiast has its down side. ;p |
| 13.02.2008 07:35 | | | Yeah, it is quite weak but still it is sufficent for this card. The main reason i got this instead VF-900 is because i got this for 15e within few kilometres from my home. |
| 13.02.2008 00:31 | | | Doesn't it say in the description that the VF-700 does it's job just fine? Maybe not more powerful than the original one, but definitely quieter. |
| 13.02.2008 00:22 | | | hrm. isnt the vf-700 a little ewak for an 8800gt? id think the vf-900/1000 would be a better choice |
| 11.02.2008 22:53 | | | have to think |
| 11.02.2008 22:44 | | | 50 |
| 11.02.2008 22:34 | | | offer? :P and i have no must to sell the case so it's not going for a very cheap price. |
| 11.02.2008 22:29 | | | nope they are in use in my main rig, just want to upgrade to a bigger chassi. |
| 11.02.2008 20:25 | | | There really is :) The stock cooler came off after i used some force on it and revealed stone hard thermal compounds. Thanks to two piece structure of the original cooler, the mem heatsink could be left intact |
| 11.02.2008 20:23 | | | Not that much cooler, but I bet there's a major difference in the noise it makes.. |
