    New Metku-office ;)
    New Metku-office ;) ...    		 LED-thingys in use again. IMO they look better now than they did with the old table.. Cat doesn't seem to be so sure. Oh and ofcourse when you're sitting on the sofa, you can't see the leds, and there's the DIY dimmer if they seem too bright.
    LED-thingys in use a...    		 CHANGE PLACES!111 New room, same house, old stuff. In hope of some day getting a proper TV, I put together this fugly TV-desk. It's ugly as sin, but also sturdy enough for anything I might or might not get.

    Upgraded the lighting in the modding shack. The upper shot is taken with the old halogen spot light, the lower with the new fluorescent lamp. Can't believe the improvement. Probably gonna install another lamp in my bedroom as the yellow incandescent light and darkness make me sick. (Oh btw when taking these shots, the camera was forced at sunlight-WB)
    Upgraded the lightin...    		 Our combined living room / modding shack. More of the latter, to be honest :D Usually the table closer to the camera is used for metal working and has a bench drill on it and the one next to the wall is for electronics. This time though I was tweaking the bike so I cleaned the desk.
    Our combined living ...    		 New place. Still lacking luxuries such as lamps and drawers, but atleast the computer and audio kit are up and running :) (also it's definitely time to make new rear speakers.. Sigh)

    The images pretty much tell it all. A chopped bookshelf behind the monitor now acts as a speaker stand and makes it easier to stack the equipments.
    The images pretty mu...    		 Tuntuu olevan muodissa uppia autosubbareita, itse en omista mokomaa, mutta tässä on kotimalli. Seems to be fashionable to upload images showing car-subwoofers. I don't own one, but here's my home-setup. Peerless XLS 10" + t.amp E400 + Linkwitz-transform (not seen in this image).
    Tuntuu olevan muodis...    		 Ok yet another deskshot... I finally bought decent speakers o/ The center speaker looks damn ridiculous as it is, I must cut the stand, so it will come down a bit. The speakers are Amphion Helium2. They are remarkably smaller than the old ones, so I'll need to build some sort of stands for the left and right as well. Vaihteeksi Jipan deskshotti... Pääsin viimein eroon markettihifistä o/ Keskikaiutin on tällähetkellä turhan korkealla, pitää lyhentää tuota jalustaa jonkinverran. Kaiuttimet ovat malliltaan Amphion helium2. Ne on huomattavasti pienempiä kuin aiemmat, ja tarvitsevat jonkinlaiset jalustat.. Pitää keksiä jotain!

    When I fixed the alu-stand to the desk, I decided to add some wire hooks and manage the cables. There was a good place for a mains cord and a KVM switch behind the table. KVM is fixed with steelwire and karhuntarrat(tm) for maximal security. The cables don't seem too tidy, but they aren't either on the floor or on the desk, so I'm happy with the result.
    When I fixed the alu...    		 The custom alu-stand finally in use. I decided not to mount the monitor to it until I invent a way to add some adjustments to it. Maybe I'll buy a commercial wall-mounting bracket and bolt it between the stand and the display...
