    Jipa - Built a test bench. Took a couple of hours and cost maybe 5 €. Used to have the parts lying on the table, but this makes moving

    Built a test bench. Took a couple of hours and cost maybe 5 €. Used to have the parts lying on the table, but this makes moving the rig so much easier...

    Note the upside down standoffs. I figured this would make for the easiest installation. Just slap the motherboard on and it is not going to move anywhere. I also have thumb grommets for more secure mounting when necessary.

    Keep it simple ;)

    30.11.2009 17:02 JipaHaa Wille was quicker. One idea I had was to buy a normal plastic storage box large enough to fit the whole thing. Then mount the lid of the box to the bottom of the test bench and I could easily just cover the whole thing with the rest of the box.

    29.11.2009 23:05 JipaI intended to make mounts, but then ran out of aluminum profile :( I have some mounts for the power supply, but think I'll make better ones as soon as I get the materials.
